Lawn Weed Control

 

If you think it does not belong then it is a weed.  Weed control can be accomplished through proper maintenance increasing the health and strength of your lawn.  It is important to note that there is no magic bullet.  It takes time to heal your lawn.

 

We use an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach as described by Health Canada.  We are a licensed pesticide applicator and operator in Ontario.

Depending on the type of weed.

 

When

Organic weed control approximately May and September and regular maintenance can help reduce weeds year round.

 

What

Spraying of iron chelate when temperature is under 20 degrees celcius.

 

Proper maintenance and continuous overseeding can help reduce weeds from your lawn.  We WILL NOT remove weeds by hand from your lawn.
